29 weeks

Hello my friends! This week is the last of the 20’s and next week I’ll be 30 weeks pregnant. Did that make sense? I can’t write or think at all today. My brain is slowly kicking the bucket. But I think that makes sense.

I had my 28 week checkup on Monday and took my gestational diabetes test and  now I’m just awaiting the results.   I feel like if I don’t hear anything it’s a good thing, but we’ll see, its only been 2 days. I may call tomorrow if I haven’t heard anything yet.

I’m exhausted. I’m so ready for house stuff to be over with…we’re winding down, but it’s been hard on this pregnant lady. I cannot wait for a weekend to lay around and do nothing. Unfortunately that weekend won’t be this weekend. Ben has decided he wants to tile the hall bathroom so demo on that starts tonight.  I have someone coming to do the tile install on Sunday.  And then next weekend is my baby shower, which I’m soooo excited about! I can’t wait to share my belly with everyone:)  I went shopping this past weekend and came up with several outfit options so we’ll see what I decide on. Maybe I should do a fashion show for you??  OK, well there is time to think about that!

· How far along are you? 29 weeks

· Total weight gain: 16 pounds. They ‘talked’ to me again about my weight gain. I mean really you want me to gain 25-35 through my entire pregnancy, I’m 29 weeks and have only gained 16, stop bitching at me!!

· How big is baby? Baby boy almost weighs 3lbs now!

· Maternity Clothes? Yep!! That’s not changing anytime soon

·Sleep? It’s still changing daily.  I have good nights and I have bad nights. Last night I slept from about 11:30-5:30 so I’d consider that a successful sleep

·Best moment this week? Hearing the baby boy’s heartbeat! That will never get old

·Movement? The amount of movement increases daily! He was squirming away from the doctor when she was trying to catch his heartbeat.

·Food Cravings? Nothing really. I’ll eat anything you put in front of my face

·Food aversions? Nothing

·Labor Signs? Nope

·Belly Button in or out? It’s still in!

·What I miss? Not waking up a million times a night to pee?

·What I’m looking forward to? Going home and getting some zzzzz tonight. I think I might skip family dinner

·Milestone? Hello 3^rd trimester!! We’re less than 3 months away from meeting this little guy!!

· Stretch Marks? I still don’t think so. And Ben hasn’t said anything.

That’s all she wrote.  Stuff at the house is beginning to wrap up, which means the nursery will be put together before I know it!  the new carpet all went in yesterday and the hosue is almost entirely put back together.  The guest room, oh my the guest room, is cleaned and ready for visitors. I had to do some serious cleaning of walls and baseboards due to my sister trashing the room.  I need to do some touchup painting, but I’m not sure that will happen anytime soon.  I’m really sad about how she didn’t care for my home at all.

 

Anyways! I’m out. The water in our building is currently turned off so I’ll be going to McDonalds or something to pee in about 5 minutes.
