Thank goodness we’re all OK here in my neck of the woods. So many people’s homes and lives were completely devastated by Sandy. We did lose power for about 5 hours which wasn’t terrible because I just hooked up the generator and watched Sex and the City. I did go into work yesterday, but really only because I was SUPER board at home.
And my husband is home, I picked him up last night. Thank goodness he made it home safely and only 2 days late it could have been a lot worse. He said when he was going through security at the airport the lady was like did you check to make sure your flight wasn’t cancelled. Have you heard what’s happening over there on the east coast? But neither of his flights were cancelled, and he actually arrived in Philly 25 minutes early! So I was late picking him up.
True Fact: my husband hates flying. Not because he’s scared but because he cannot deal with the crowds of people.
But he survived and was sober when I picked him up, ha!
Tonight is trick or treating at my brother and sister in laws, so we’ll go over there. I know we won’t stay long because I’m sure Ben will be tired. I don’t think he slept much due to the time change and just traveling….it always leaves me awake/wired.
I hope everyone is having a good Wednesday!
