Another good day at the doctor’s office!

I had more blood work done this morning and another ultrasound.  I have ovulated, which is fantastic news!  I never thought that I wasn’t ovulating but when things aren’t working properly you start to question everything.

Such a great way to start the weekend.  Tonight Ben and I are going to go out on a date.  He’s been out of town and since my sister is living with us we can’t just order takeout and like hang low, so we’re going out for sushi.  Why sushi you ask? (I’m sure you’re not actually wondering that…)  But the reason for sushi is because next Friday I’m sure I’m going to be pregnant and then I won’t be able to eat sushi:)

Anywhoo next week I have a blood draw again on Monday morning and Thursday morning.  That is just to check my progesterone levels.  Progesterone is only present in high levels in the body after ovulation in the luteal phase of your cycle.  If your body isn’t creating enough of it than it will be harder for implantation.

Friday my period is due to arrive.  So we’ll see. 

DH is scheduled for his semen analysis on Tuesday morning and he has got to go get all his bloodwork done before the end of  next week.  If my period does arrive than we’ll schedule quickly to sit with the doctor to evaluate what our next moves are.

Otherwise, its standard work around here.  Cannot wait to leave work in a bit for dinner out with my darlin’.  I hope everyone has a good weekend!!
