Who doesn't?
My house has been so hard to keep clean. 3 adult, 4 dogs, and 2 people cleaning....that would be my husband and I...you know, the cleaners.
Our roomate was living here for free. He was going through some rought times and was going to be here for a month, but that turned into two months which turned into four months. Mix that with never helping around the house and that left one angry lady!
My husband tried to help, and he is a really clean person but there is only so much he can do, and I do 'see' more dirt than he does. At the end of the roommates stay with us I was frustrated. His two dogs shed a lot, and he didn't seem to know how to pick up a vacuum, or dust, or wipe down glass doors that his dogs noses were permanently affixed to. and I got frustrated cleaning all those things only to have nose marks reappear on our doors approx. 3 minutes later. So I stopped. and that made me even more upset. So he had to go. and today I am finally home and have plenty of time to do a deep vacuum, and clean doors, baseboards, and walls. Sure I won't be able to do it all in one day but I'm already feeling better about everything!
DH has gone skiing for the day, so I am home alone and I love LOVE the quiet of our home. Our two small dogs are perfectly content to sleep away the day, and honestly I am perfectly happy to lay in bed next to them and read.
I am about to start the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I know I wasn't going to start a new series, but it seems I have to because the movie is due out in March, and well I'll have to go see it with my book club chicks. and they've already read the series. While my nose was in other books they were all reading this, which apparently makes me a 'half nerd'. I can't be half of anything, I will catch up. What the heck was I thinking:)
and coming soon is a recap of my secret Santa present from one of my besties!! I was soo amazing, but I'm not allowed to share quite yet.
