I got to see my family!

1st let me apologize for being gone for so long. our internet wasn't working and then I couldn't post for some reason..blah.

anywhooo

My nephew arrived to the earth about a month ago. And it’s been killing me that I haven’t met him yet, so my husband and I are going back to Ohio this weekend.  That is the hardest part about living so far away from my family, not getting to see my nephews grow up.  Don’t get me wrong, I love ALL of my family, but I can talk to my mom and sisters on a daily basis, and frankly the fact that we don’t actually see each other on the regular makes our relationships better.

And while I was sooo excited to meet the new baby, I couldn't wait to see my grandparents. I couldn't wait to see my mom’s new house….and I couldn't wait to give my nephew the cape I made him. Eeekk! I think it’s so cute but my husband thinks it’s a bit girly because it has polka dots on it. Are polka dots girly? I mean he’s 2.5 years old, so he doesn’t know/care though right?

So work has been insane, and it makes me beyond happy that I could get away for a couple of days.
