Get the heck out of the bed!!

Our dogs used to sleep in bed with us.  They still do sometimes, but its a transition.

1st let me say my husband isn't bothered by the dogs at all. and thats because they sleep on ME, not him.  Heck it could be just me in the bed and Ratchet and Mabel will be on top of me.  not next to me or at the bottom of the bed, but in between my legs or laying across my chest.

Its tough. I wasn't sleeping well. and what the heck are we going to do with them if I get pregnant or once we have a baby?

So I decided to transition them out of the bed.

I mean for goodness sake this is what I was waking up to:

interested in playing mom?

and when I got out of bed in the morning to take a shower I would come back to this:

um guys thats my pillow...look at Ratchet, he's like,

 "sorry ma you don't mind I've taken over the entire bed do you?"

or this:

really Ratchet?

So I bought a baby mattress on craigs list and I bought a colorful sheet and threw an old blanket on top, and these dogs officially have the cutest dog bed:) and its easy to clean, all I have to do is throw the sheet in the wash.



but my husband is still putting up a fight, ala this photo:

we'll get there one day
