The beginning of last week was terrible due to my rowdy weekend weekend…but I had fun. And I paid for it. I decided I would eat as simply as possible and drink as much water as possible for a couple of days to see if that helped my tummy and by Tuesday I was feeling much better!

So I didn’t weigh myself. I feel like last week for me was about balance. I wasn’t going to stick hard core to the detox, but I wasn’t (and still am not) really ready to eat dairy or bread. I just feel good without and I really think last weekend the reason my splurge made me feel so terrible is because of the cheese and bread. I snacked a little more this week, and didn’t feel bad about having a glass of wine at the get together I went to on Wednesday and with my MIL on Saturday. And I didn’t wake up feeling terrible the next morning either! And I wasn’t bloated from it either.
I still haven’t had coffee, because truly I don’t miss it. I kind of miss the hot drink in the morning, but as the weather gets warmer I don’t really feel like I need it.
So the lesson I learned this week was, it’s all about balance. Which is what I hoped to get out of this detox challenge.
I didn’t weigh myself this morning either. Because AF arrived and I just feel a bit blah about that. I would really like to say that my total weight loss was 10.4 lbs, which is what my number was before last weekend. And even if I don’t keep all of that off, I’m OK with that too. I would LIKE to stay under 130, which I think is an attainable goal. I feel awesome when I’m under 130.
Next up: I’ll post about my gardens:) they are really coming along and I can’t wait to show you pictures!!! I planted 4 trees over the weekend. Small trees, but they’ll get big it’s just a matter of time.
