My husband brought home 10 pounds of shredded cheese last night. Yeah, I know.
The bar around the corner from our house closed down this past weekend. Which is really sad for us because it was “our bar”. We knew everyone there, it was really a fun place to go, an oh it was about a 2 minute drive from our house. The reason it closed is really a shame and it had to do with the previous owners and some sort of deal they had worked out with the bank before the new owners took it over…but back to the cheese.
What the heck does a person do with 10lbs of cheese?! Bag it and freeze it. Thank goodness I had plenty of ziplock bags!
I hope my husband knows he’s going to be using shredded cheese on everything for a while.
Oh and he also brought home 10 cases of ‘nice’ beer that they had to get rid of. Thank goodness we have a separate beer refrigerator!
