Reading Update 7/26/2012

I don’t really have much to share this week. and i'm not going to add pictures of the books because I'm not in the mood to search for them.

In the Car - 

I listened to Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris.  It’s book #1 in the Sookie Stackhouse series. I didn’t love it….not sure if the series continues on with the same characters. I mean I know Sookie is in the entire series (well at least I think so since it’s called the Sookie Stackhouse series). I’ll probably listen to the next one too because, well, I go through a lot of books on audio!

I’ve just started 11/22/63.  This one is going to be interesting.  Stephen King is a lot different than Nicholas Sparks, ha! But it should be a good one. I’m excited and really liking it so far even though I’m only on disc 2.

Reading –

I think I mentioned I read and finished A Fault in the Stars and LOVED THAT.

And I read The Last Boyfriend by Nora Roberts

And up next is supposed to be Gone with the Wind. My husbands grandmother recently moved into a home and when they were cleaning out her house I found a 1^st edition Gone with the Wind….so that’s in my stack:)

Up Next –  need to read the next book in the BDB series so I can return it to the library and not worry about it anymore. Then I have to take a break from the series.

And I just picked up these from the library:

·         Daughter of smoke & bone by Laini Taylor

·         The Luck One by Nicholas Sparks (audio)

·         The next best thing by Jennifer Weiner

So a slower reading week for me.  My younger sister and I are currently working hard on a puzzle. Gosh I sound like such a nerd, reading and puzzles on the weekdays. But I still drink on the weekends!!
