This Saturday Ben and I went on a wonderful adventure! He wanted to get some fly’s for his fly fishing and I’m always encouraging healthy activities so I told him I would go with him. Because we were out that way (1.5 hours from our house) we decided to go to Victory Brewing Co too. Neither of us had ever been there but we were excited for it.
Cabela’s is huge people. I’ve been to one before but I didn’t remember just how big it was.
Ben was in fly heaven
And I considered shopping for my vacation in June…turns out what they had really isn’t my style:)
Cabela’s has an aquarium, this fake mountain, and stuffed animals hanging all over the place.
Once we had finished up with that excursion we moved out for dinner. At this point I was hungry and thirsty! There was a 75 minute wait for dinner but that time flew by as we each enjoyed a yummy beer. Ben did drink 2 beers, which I thought was certainly OK seeing as we had just done our IUI and because he’s been so good avoiding alcohol.
The food was amazing. I expected bar food but this was really kicked up a notch. We had appetizers and both had full meals and our bill was only $36. This didn’t include alcohol, beers were about $5 a piece, but we didn’t actually drink at all with dinner because we were kinda full from the beers before dinner and because I was stuffed from apps and dinner!
If you live in the Philly region you should totally try Victory out.
