My husband is in Montana and so until I get out there and can tell him I’m waiting to share this news with you. You’re hopefully reading this on Thursday and that means I’ve successfully figured out how to blog in advance!!
My period was due on Saturday September 21, 2013 and I couldn’t bring myself to test. Tuesday morning I woke up at 5:15 and had to pee. I laid in bed for a good 15 minutes, filled the dogs water bowl up, did some dishes, and then went to pee. I was sooo scared I would be disappointed again. I took a strip HCG test first and then followed up with a digital test. Both showed positive!! I’ll spare you the many photos that I took:)
And then I cried. Excitement that I was finally pregnant, sadness that Ben wasn’t there to experience it with me.
I needed to tell someone and I so I woke my sister up and made her look at the tests and confirm that she saw double lines. We stood in my bathroom, she hugged me, and I cried and ugly cry. Then she went and go the dogs and told them they were going to have a sibling and the 4 of us had a group hug in the bathroom.
I stopped by the RE’s office on my way into work to get my blood taken. The morning ticked by so slowly, but my first beta # was 467. The number doesn’t mean much, they just want to see it double within 2 days. Since I’ll be out of town in 2 days I’m scheduled to go back in on Monday.
Ben has no idea that my period was late, and I have no idea how I’m going to tell him that I’m pregnant. I’ll probably just blurt it out. I can’t wait to tell you all about Ben’s reaction
So without further adooo here is a little questionnaire that I saw on someone else’s blog a looong time ago. Back in January 2012 the month after I started this blog I found it and started the post but haven’t even looked at it since.
Please do not say anything about this on Facebook, Instagram, and so forth....this pregnancy is sooo new and we haven't even told family and close friends.
