Our NT scan went really well, basically our results are as
good as they get. The chances of having
a baby with Down Syndrome or Trisomy 18/13 is 1 in > 10,000.
Such a huge relief.
I honestly didn’t realize how much I was holding back in regards to letting myself get
excited about this pregnancy. But as
soon as I saw the baby today and heard that everything looked OK I started to
tear up. And I kept smiling and looking to Ben to see if he saw what I was
seeing! And of course he’s on the rolling stool that the doctor normally sits
in turning in circles after a while. I
was like focus man, focus!! Haha but he was giddy too!
So here is the babe. Moving
all around. Hands up by its face, legs stretched out and kicking everywhere! I know in some of the photos it looks like the baby has something
weird attached to its face but that’s its hand next to its head. Which to me is hilarious because I sleep with
my hands above my head and so maybe this is the first example we’re seeing of
baby being like mom:)
The color images are actually 3D and what you’re seeing here
is just a still of it but while we were watching it we could actually see the
baby moving around and kicking and peeing!

Yay, now enjoy your pregnancy. Its amazinghow big the baby already is at 12 weeks
