A recap of the golden globes

Honestly I have no interest in the watching the award show itself, I just want to see the pretty people and dresses.

Naomi Watts – loved her dress. I think my fave of the night.

 

Ben actually watched some of the show with me and was in general a fan of all the woman showing a lot of skin, ala Amy Adams

 

And then there were the mama’s to be, who looked very chick and appropriately dressed!

 

 

Although, Drew Barrymore, not so much. It doesn’t surprise me she was wearing a dress covered in flowers, but I didn’t love it at all

And of course we had Jennifer Lawrence.  Can we talk about her dress for a minute. I guess I get it. I see where she was going with it, but take that bottom black band off of it and it looks like a bridal gown.  I love love Rachel Zoe and I think her styling was perfection, but I’m just not sure I’m in love with the dress. I certainly don’t think it was a bomb.

 

 

 

I’m obsessed with her makeup/earings

I didn’t care for what Sandra Bullock was wearing, which totally bummed me out because I feel like style wise she’s been so spot on lately. If the dress isn’t have that blue at the bottom I probably would have loved it.

 

And I’m certainly not going to start bashing anyone’s dresses but I have several things to say.

1.       a worst dressed list shouldn’t exist, these people tried, some of them really hard

2.       Julia Louis dryfus – I think you’ve worn that before

3.       Zoe zsaldana – don’t you have a stylist?

4.       Heidi Klum – for real? the 70’s is calling and wants their hairdo and dress back

5.       Rashida Jones – you are adorable. But palm trees on your dress for the Globes isn’t appropriate. Sorry:(

Who did you love seeing?
