Our weekend was a whirlwind!

29 April 2013

It flew by!  I love my weekend when I don’t do anything, but I almost equally as much love busy busy weekends.

Quick recap – Friday drinking with some friends. These are my two photos of the night…so yeah.

Saturday – I went to the library and then went to a zumbathon to raise money for Cancer research.

The only crappy thing about that was that it was in the middle of the day so it kinda screwed up  my timeline.  I rushed home to eat something and then went out shopping for flowers!! Love love.  I was able to get most of my decorative flowers planted and the planters on my front porch done.  And we pulled weeds. Gah that is a terrible thing to have to do.  When Ben got home we got started on the garden.  He had put down a tarp on the yard to kill the grass where the garden was going to go and we needed to rototill it and get all the grass up.

That was enough for Saturday.  I don’t think I sat down until 6:30.

Sunday Ben went fishing and I went grocery shopping and cleaned the house.  When he got home we went and bought all our veggies and fruits for the garden and got planting!  That was a chore, and we really need to refine the garden, but we had to get everything in the ground so we put up a temporary fence and will work on the garden bed itself this year.

I also put up a fence around our outdoor HVAC condenser. Every time I drive up to the house I see it and it drives me bonkers, so now its hidden!!  That is on the side of the house where I’m working on adding a flower bed, so its not nearly finished yet. But hey I’m only one person!

Last night I fell asleep at 7:00:( oops!  but so did Ratchet!

It was raining this morning so I didn’t get to take pictures of some of my projects, so I’ll post them tomorrow!
