I’m finally back on track with my Thursday book review. Woohoo, it’s about time!
In the Car -
I finished the Nicholas Sparks audio book, Safe Haven….I really enjoyed it. It’s definitely a Nicholas Sparks read though! Hahaha. But I liked it, and half way through listening to it I saw a picture of Julianna Hough on like people or some website like that and it was a picture of her filming this story! So that’s exciting. I like to read/listen to books before they become popular…I hate being a follower. But alas I am because how the heck would I know about all these good books if I didn’t hear about them from someone else or randomly stumble across them.
I am now currently listening to Dead Until Dark by Charlaine Harris. It’s book #1 in the Sookie Stackhouse series. I’ve heard a lot about it and at the rate I’m going through audio books I thought it would be a good idea to get into a series. I’m liking it so far…another story about vampires, which isn’t a terrible thing. I’ve just been reading about them a lot lately.
Reading –
Finished Book 6 Lover Enshrined in the BDB series. This one rambled a little for me and I had a hard time getting into it quite as much.
Now I’m read a Fault in Our Stars and am loving it. Such an interesting story about this girl who is dying of cancer and her relationships with other people and their outlook on life in general…I can’t wait until lunch so I can keep reading:)
Up Next –
I want to finish the BDB book that I have check out at the library and a lady I work with just brought me the Nora Roberts book, The Last Boyfriend to read….so I’ll want to get that back to her. I have lots of books on hold at the library…here’s the list you’ll think I’m crazy but I actually get this many every time I go to the library and I somehow make my way through them:
· 11/22/63 by Stephen King (audio)
· The Luck One by Nicholas Sparks (audio)
· The book theif by Markus Zusak (audio)
· The next best thing by Jennifer Weiner
So I should be good for another couple of weeks:)
