What’s on the agenda?

Sleep!

 

I should be painting, meal planning, cleaning, writing some thank you cards but instead I choose to sleep.

 

My body is tired. Thank goodness the home renovation stuff happened when it did because all I could do this weekend was sleep. I did go to yoga, meet the daycare lady, had dinner with friends and painted 3 doors and the final coat on the mantle…so that’s not super lazy. But in comparison to the past couple weekends where I was tearing out carpet and ripping staples and carpet tack out of the floor it seemed lazy. I have lots ahead of me though this week. What really needs to get done is some baseboard install so I can have my washer and dryer back and bathroom painting.  I think I’ll paint while Ben installs baseboard. 

Now I just need to pick out a color for said bathroom walls.  The ceiling and walls were barney purple before so anything is a huge improvement.

Friends, I got stuck in the carwash

I had to pee sooo bad but decided I would just run through the wash really quickly because my car was disgusting. So I get through and am about to move into the dry phase and there was a car at the end of the line. I had to slam on my breaks and honk my horn so they could stop the carwash. and the tracks keep trying to move your car so I was totally freaked something would happen to my car, but it was fine.  They shut the carwash down and apparently the garage door at the end wasn't opening properly so they had to move us backwards through the wash and manually open the door. it was a weird experience. and I was dying to pee as I was stuck in there for 15 minutes!

but my car is clean!  Aren’t you glad I shared:)
